All BER certs are €125 for the months of February and March
The Better Energy Homes Scheme provides grants to certain homeowners to improve the energy efficiency of their home. It has replaced the Home Energy Saving Scheme. It is administered by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).
Grant levels have been reduced in the 2012 budget to the following levels.

Note that grant levels have been reduced from those previously offered under HES, (except for external wall insulation) to reflect the lower prices in a competitive market. People wishing to install solar heating can now avail of a fixed grant through this scheme.All other terms and conditions remain the same and the application process is the same.

The Home Energy Saving (HES) scheme provides grants to homeowners who are interested in improving the energy efficiency of their home in order to reduce energy use and costs as well as greenhouse gas emissions.
The scheme is open to all owners of existing houses built before 2006. The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland administers the scheme. Assistance will be provided by way of fixed grants towards the costs of implementing upgrade measures. The types of measures currently eligible under this scheme are roof insulation, wall insulation, high efficiency boilers and heating control upgrades.

The Greener Homes Scheme provides assistance to homeowners who intend to purchase a new renewable energy heating system for existing homes which were first occupied prior to 30th June 2008.
The scheme is also administered by The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland and aims to increase the use of sustainable energy technologies within Irish homes.
